Mary J B Kamara

Mary graduated from Fourah Bay College with a BA in Social Work. She served as a safe space mentor for adolescent girls in Western Rural Waterloo through Project Pikin. She is also a Youth Choir Leader and Music Director for Winners Choir and the Goderich Community Gospel Choir.

She is involved in coordinating the Black Tuesday community dialogues to raise awareness about rape and demand justice for survivors. Over the past year she has enjoyed developing her report writing and public speaking skills and has found family at Purposeful.
