Haja holds a Masters of Philosophy in Gender and Development.
She has a vast knowledge in development work, particularly working with hard-to-reach women and children.
Her previous job was at Save The Children International as the Project Monitoring, Evaluation Assessment and Learning Officer, to improve access to basic education for girls.
She also worked with GOAL Sierra Leone in various capacities, including Gender and Safeguarding Supervisor, Partnership and Mainstreaming Officer, and Community Support Worker.
She volunteers with St. George’s Foundation to identify and reintegrate vulnerable children with their families. Haja has also worked as a Field Officer at the Sierra Leone Conference on Development and Transformation to collect holistic data on governance issues. She is an unapologetic feminist with a passion to create a world were girls and women will be free from all forms of discrimination.
