Augustine Brima

Augustine is a development practitioner in education and child protection. He has been engaged in implementing programmes on skills development for adolescents and youths in rural areas in Sierra Leone.

He worked as a Capacity-building and Development Coordinator at Save the Children Sierra Leone on the School Me project funded by Save the Children Korea. In this role he was engaged in facilitating training for teachers on improved teaching and learning. Augustine also conducted gender training for stakeholders and youths in the Western Rural Area.

Augustine has conducted sessions for girls and boys to dramatize issues that reflected cases of abuse within their schools/communities. This served as a reminder to parents and teachers that children are aware of cases of abuse that required action.
