Programme Officer

Aminata Katta holds a Bachelor’s Degree with Honors (B.Sc) in Social Work from Njala University – School of Social Sciences. She is a feminist, gender advocate and a girl champion. She is the founder of Her Choice, a community-based organization working in promoting and protecting women and girl’s rights.

She has worked with Pikin-to-Pikin Movement Sierra Leone as a Project Officer and was also a Safeguarding Focal Person for Moyamba Program Unit, on a Project called Supporting Adolescent Girls Empowerment (SAGE). Aminata has also worked with Muloma Women’s Development Association (MUWODA) as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer on the project “Engaging Men through Accountable Practice” (EMAP) to end Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). She is a good team leader with a flexible nature that is adaptable and open to working with diverse cultures.
