Womxn of Wonder (WOW) in the USA welcomes female-identifying scholars and their accomplices from around the world to engage with pressing theories driving women’s rights and activist leadership. Enabling attendees with tools they need to translate critical knowledge and feeling into practice, “Lifeshops” address and inspire projects to fight gender-based and intersectional injustice. Recognizing that the deep complexities of intersectional oppression need to be better understood to be undone, high school senior Annelise established WOW with generous support from Youth Activism Project, Girls Learn International, and Purposeful to mobilize an extending sisterhood among youth justice enthusiasts who will be the future of sustainability.
