Organización de Mujeres Jóvenes y niñas con discapacidad “La Esperanza”

The organisation of young women and girls with disabilities “”La Esperanza”” is group of women with disabilities, lesbian, trans and gender non-conforming young people, who work for the inclusion of these populations in Nicaragua. Most of the members of the organisation do not have a formal job or they have small businesses, which have been directly affected by the pandemic. This organisation seeks to advocate for emergency care at the municipality level, provide protection and hygiene kits to the most vulnerable groups that currently do not have any income, as well as psychological sessions for the organisation.
