Movimiento Feminista de Niñas y mujeres wayuu-MFNMW

We are a non-profit organization whose main objective is to safeguard, attend and defend the collective and individual human rights of Wayuu girls, boys, teenagers and women. Among the daily tasks that each of them develop from their processes of activism and community feminism are economic empowerment work for the sustainability of these girls, for the strengthening of their community processes and economic empowerment, spinning their futures from the Ancestral wisdom for the importance of weaving as a traditional method of Wayuu culture, taking into account the practice of resilience in Wayuu women. We wish to create economic development capacities in each of the beneficiaries in order to continue weaving the paths of self-sustainability in their lives so they can advance positively in their daily and organizational tasks from different communities and traditional ranches.
