MANO AMIGA DE LA COSTA CHICA

Mano Amiga de la Costa Chica is an organization that works for the political, economic and cultural empowerment of Afro-Mexican women and youth in Cuajinicuilapa, Guerrero, Mexico. There are currently no culturally-sensitive sexual and reproductive health programs for Afro-Mexican adolescence and youth in their communities. Therefore, they seek to support Afro-Mexican adolescents and young people to access their sexual and reproductive rights, through feminist self-care kits, reliable contraceptive methods, brochures with information on safe abortion and a guide to conscious menstruation with a menstrual cup for beginners.
