Coletivo de Mulheres do Xingu

The Coletivo de Mulheres do Xingu works in the middle of the Xingu region in the defense and promotion of the rights of girls and women and environmental guidelines. It aims at gender equality and the elimination of all forms of violence and discrimination against women. The collective seeks to strengthen the struggle for the territoriality of women from Transamazônica and Xingu with an emphasis on the specificities of Amazon women (urban, black, riverside, fishermen, farmers, quilombolas, and indigenous people) who work in a network with women from Panamazonia and Latin America.
