Colectiva Trans-Parencias is the first trans feminist collective in Costa Rica. Its mission is to fight for the vindication of the rights of sex work and trans identities, and eradicate all forms of discrimination against sex workers (cis / trans), with an educational and impactful approach. Sex workers have been severely affected by the current economic and health crisis.
The Colectiva seeks to support these people by providing non-perishable food, condoms, blankets, clothing, personal care products, and reusable masks. The Colectiva Trans-Parencias also intends to promote an awareness campaign and deliver informative material on the rights of sex workers.
