Boxgirls Kenya

Kenya

Boxgirls Kenya (BGK) was set up in 2007 by a boxing coach, Analo Anjere, known locally as Priest. BGK provides boxing and education, leadership and mentorship, and entrepreneurship activities in the slums of Nairobi. At the heart of its work is the promotion of security for girls. BGK aims to create positive change by using sports as an entry point into difficult discussions related to sexuality and to challenge stereotypes related to gender and sport.
