Articulação Intercomunidades para o Bem Viver is made up of girls and young women from traditional and rural communities located in the state of Maranhão, Brazil. This joint seeks to fight and resist different logistics projects aimed at mining and agribusiness that generate expropriation of their land and territory. Even during the pandemic, these communities suffer threats of expulsion from their territories, and with the advancement of COVID-19, isolation increases due to limited access to the internet and telephony. In this context, the group seeks to accompany its communities through information campaigns for the prevention of Covid-19, financial support for the production of masks, and the acquisition of baumanometers, thermometers, and oximeters, among other actions.
