Al-Bir – Cultivating Culture and Community in Wadi Ara

Palestinian women living in Israel face daily discrimination due to their ethnicity and their gender. Al Bir organisation seeks to redress this exclusion by using art to give them a voice. It gives the women of Wadi Ara a community centre that serves as a space for self-expression, where they can foster relationships and engage in dialogue.
